Architect Designer

Brenda has been a Project Design Manager at Gebesa since December 2016. In this role, she leads the design process for a diverse range of projects, creating harmony in furniture, colors, and materials across various sectors including offices, government departments, hospitals, hotels, resorts, and universities. Her approach is client-centric, focusing on understanding each client’s vision through detailed consultations with sales executives. Brenda’s expertise extends from developing initial concepts and sketches to producing comprehensive floor plans, 3D models, and render visualizations, ensuring every project is executed to perfection.

Her prior experience as a Plan Designer at Forjados Industriales VELHER involved designing intricate floor plans and 3D models for various construction projects, including large steel structures and residential subdivisions. Her work here sharpened her skills in architectural design and drafting, making her adept at creating both functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

Brenda’s commitment to the arts is evident from her time as an Art Teacher at The Spirit of Music and Art Institute in Brownsville, TX. From 2013 to June 2014, she inspired young minds through painting, teaching them to express their emotions through color and form. She emphasized learning from different artists and techniques, helping her students understand the intricacies of light, shadows, textures, and colors. This experience enriched her creative perspective, which she seamlessly integrates into her architectural projects.

Brenda also offered private art classes, focusing on children aged 4-15. These sessions were a unique opportunity for young learners to explore art in a relaxed, home environment, using outdoor settings as a source of inspiration. Her teaching approach fostered creativity and joy in her students, encouraging them to view art as both a discipline and a delightful pastime.

Adding to her diverse portfolio, Brenda is certified in intermediate and advanced AutoCad and AutoDesk software. Her academic journey includes a significant internship at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brownsville, where she worked on photography projects and designed plans for the museum’s expansion. This experience broadened her understanding of integrating artistic elements into architectural design.

Brenda began her career with a foundational internship at Brenda Marissa Garcia Architecture Firm in Cd. Victoria, Tam, Mexico. Over two years, she gained valuable insights into client relations and project management, learning how to maintain high standards of quality across different stages of architectural design.

Brenda completed her Associate Architect degree in 2014 from UTB/TSC in Brownsville, TX and her Bachelor’s B.ARCH in Architecture in 2016 from UTSA in San Antonio, TX.

Throughout her career, Brenda has remained committed to expanding her skill set and delivering exceptional designs. Her experience spans from educational institutions to public and private sector projects, all while maintaining a strong artistic sensibility.
